Based in the vibrant city of Cambridge, UK, Cambridge Astrology Club welcomes all those with an interest in astrology.
Welcome to Cambridge Astrology Club, my name is Heather McVey, a local astrologer at invokingvenus.com and founder of this new and exciting astrology club aimed at providing a community of friendship, learning and opportunity for local astrologers.
I know from experience how isolating it can feel when you are learning astrology and its beautiful language, and are starting to see the world through its lens—excited at the expansive learning journey ahead—but have noone to share it with. If you're an astrologer reading this and are looking for that vital community, welcome, you've found us!
Cambridge Astrology Club plans to offer a diverse range of activities to engage both online and in-person members of all knowledge levels. These events are a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, share experiences, and deepen your understanding of astrology in a supportive environment.
As part of our vision to support our professional astrologer members to reach a wider audience, we would also like to dedicate part of our website to our members who would like to share quality astrological content with our visitors and members, whether it be an astrology themed article, poem, piece of art, music etc. If you have something you think you might like to contribute, we'd be pleased to hear from you at cambridgeastrologyclub@gmail.com. Similarly, if you would like to become a committee member and help with the running of the club, do get in touch.
This seems like a good place to give a big shout out to our talented designer and astrologer Christine Carr of Christinecarr.design who is the magical force behind our beautiful website. Thank you Christine, your talents and time are so appreciated.
For those who are keen to know our chart, Cambridge Astrology Club was officially launched at 16:30pm on Saturday 11th July 2025. We enjoyed our first social gathering at the Green Dragon in Chesterton on a beautiful sunny day. We were joined by people of all levels of knowledge, from absolute beginners, to expert astrologers such as Prudence Jones and Elly Daly, who had been members of a previous Cambridge Astrology Group back in the 1990s.
Perhaps we will dive into the chart of the club in a future article. For now, we're glad you found us, do get in touch if you need to, and we look forward to meeting you very soon!
